Hi,

The Linnets have had quite a week — a thumping 5–0 win at AFC Telford United on Saturday, and off the pitch, a visit from the 8:56 Foundation that had manager Paul Caddis calling it the most important presentation he's ever watched. Elsewhere, the town opened its doors for Heritage Open Day, rain and all.

Let's get into it.

Media manager Conor Blake spoke about reaching the point of needing to talk to someone, and manager Paul Caddis called it "the most important, the most vital presentation I've ever watched." The foundation's logo already sits on the Linnets' shirts. Read the full story on Lynn News – 'We hurt the same as everybody else': Linnets and 8:56 Foundation

⚽ Linnets thrash AFC Telford United 5–0. Carlton Ubaezuonu scored twice before half-time and completed his hat-trick after the break, Reece Hall-Johnson added a 30-yard strike, and substitute Layton Love sealed it — even with Jesse Nwabueze's penalty saved, it was one-way traffic at the SEAH Stadium. The day wound up at the Live and Let Live, pulling pints of Essex Boys bitter for a packed pub. Read the full story on Lynn News – Town's Heritage Open Day saw thousands of visitors
